Jorge Santos, Visual Arts for Healing Educator (he/him)

Jorge Santos is a visual artist and illustrator from San Juan, Puerto Rico. His love for drawing was realized when he started making portraits with his grandfather, and, since then, he always knew he'd seek a career in art. 

He moved to Baltimore in 2013 to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) where he received a degree in General Fine Arts with a concentration in Illustration. 

He worked as an Art Teacher at Renaissance Art Center and as an Event Staff Member at Creative Labs. Since 2020, he has owned and operated his own design business called Moss Head. 

Jorge has practiced and studied mindfulness since he was a child. Currently, he works in Baltimore City as an art educator, freelance graphic designer, painter, art vendor, and musician under his artist moniker, Moss Head.
