About the Peace Fellows

Originally supported by a seed grant from the Baltimore Development Corporation, our Peace Fellows Program brings outstanding professionals and/or parents into our community to mentor youth and families about workforce development and healing, or to assist with the recruitment of enrollees.

2026

Patrick M. Young


Patrick M. Young joins us as our 2026 Peace Fellow.


A brilliant community health leader and mentor, Patrick is the National Vice President of Workforce and Economic Development for Youth Advocate Programs (YAP®), Inc. 


He will  offer remarks and conversation to mentor the Youth and Parent Peacemakers of Wisdom Projects about their career goals and dreams and discuss the kind of mindset, relationship-building, conduct, and deportment they will need to succeed in the contemporary workforce on Thursday April 30, 2026 in  National Reentry Month/National Second Chance Month.


Selena Jones


A Parent Peacemaker and a longtime specialist in geriatric nursing assistance, Selena Jones joins us as a Peace Fellow for the spring season specifically focusing on enrollment and recruitment for children and families within East Balimore's 21202 housing projects for Wisdom Projects.

2019-2022

Focusing on peace-centered holistic health and healing, Ama Chandra and Christina Marsh served as part-time Peace Fellows during this period.
