VIDEO CAMPAIGNS

The "Listen to the Youth" Campaign

From September 7 to September 10, 2026, one of our 17-year-old Youth Peacemakers named Majesty took over Wisdom Projects, Inc.'s social media accounts and launched a one-of-a-kind public messaging campaign that we call "Listen to the Youth." The goal was to give the public a rare glimpse into the successes, challenges, and heart of a Black teen survivor of violence. We are so proud of Majesty. Links to this campaign appear below.

In a time when Black youth are often criticized and demonized for crime and violence in our cities, it is refreshing and significant to hear from a strong, intelligent, kind, warm-hearted youth like Majesty who represents the majority of Black youth who need our love and support. Majesty wrote his own scripts and made his own videos. He had nightly conversations with our Executive Director to talk through what he was doing and receive guidance, but the ideas and work was his own.
